This last week I’ve been concentrating on starting my etsy store so haven’t had as much time to work on my squidoo lenses. As a result I’ve noticed some strange trends in lensrank.
It appears that some of my lenses rely on constant updates and tweaks to maintain their rank while others remain almost constant no matter what I do. I’m still pretty busy with other things so it will be interesting to see what another week of minimal Squidoo activity does to my stats.
My sales drought is still ongoing. It’s a strange thing but after about three months on Squidoo I was making a regular but small income which I hoped would have increased by now. Instead sales have dried up altogether. Once I’ve got time to go over my lenses I’m going to put my thinking cap on a see what I can do to generate some income.

God I’m such a bad blogger! Here I am only three posts into Squid Top and already I’m letting it slide. In my defence I have been pretty busy with four new lenses published in the last seven days. In addition I’ve also set up an etsy store and naturally am working on a lens to promote it.
I’ve also being doing a bit of reading, specifically Tim Ferriss’ Four Hour Work Week. Worryingly I did find myself calculating how many more Squidoo lenses I could build if only worked four hours a week. There is no denying I am a Squidoo addict.

Having been lucky enough to be made a Giant Squid recently I now have the privilege of my very own lens template. I’ve given it a go this evening and I love it. Not that it does everything for you but it makes lens building that little bit easier. The results are here.
